One of the most interesting things about globetrotter <a href=\"www.concoursmondial.com\">Mondial de Bruxelles<\/a>\u00a0is to get to know local wines and winemakers. Held this year in Bratislava I had the chance of having <strong>Jaro Macik<\/strong>, <a href=\"www.tokajmacik.sk\">Tokaj Macik Winery<\/a>\u00a0owner\u2019s son and winemaker, in my panel 54.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.w-anibal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/IMG_5278-e1368286168277.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-248\" alt=\"IMG_5278\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.w-anibal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/IMG_5278-e1368286168277.jpg\" width=\"605\" height=\"454\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Jaro has been introducing me to <a href=\"www.slovakiawines.com\">Slovak top wines<\/a> and I share with you my best discoveries, apart from his <em>Mono, Furmint, White 2011, Ros\u00e9 2012<\/em> and lovely stickies <em>Tokaj Classic<\/em> and <em>Millenium 2007<\/em>, both 4 putna. You would want to know more about <a href=\"http:www.vinovdovjak.sk\">V\u00edno Vdovjak<\/a>\u00a0and its <em>Samorodn\u00e9 Such\u00e9 2007<\/em>, <a href=\"www.zitavskevinice.sk\">Zitavsk\u00e9 Vinice<\/a>\u00a0and its <em>Pinot Gris 2012<\/em>. Also <a href=\"www.karpatskaperla.sk\">Karpatsk\u00e1 Perla<\/a>\u00a0for the whole well labeled range and <a href=\"www.zlatystrapec.sk\">Tokaj Zlaty Strapec<\/a>\u00a0for its sweet Tokajs. Although the secular Tokaj wine appellation is related to the vast Hungarian region, there are 10+ Slovak wineries in the eastern border that also share generations of unique Tokaj wine crafting.
