What an overwelming first day of blind tasting at the 6th Beira Interior Wine Competition, held in bioclimatic city of Guarda.IMG_5615 I am chairing this year’s event so I’m just sharing what I’ve heard from other tasters. Earthy mineral – tropical free – whites. Fruity and surprisingly long rosés. Floral, berry fruit and chalky driven and terroir reds, highly praised by their present and lasting ageing potential. Dear International Wine Buyers and Critics: Do you even know which wine region am I referring to? Remember: Beira Interior, Portugal
